Beyond Pricing
A playbook on breaking silos and finding peak performance in commercial breaking
I spent my career inside commercial banking finance, leading finance functions across large portfolios, sitting in the rooms where pricing, capital allocation, and relationship economics either aligned or didn't. Over time, what I saw shaped a conviction: banks don't have a pricing problem. They have a performance design problem. Strong results can coexist with fragile systems for years. The numbers hold. The design underneath may not.
I wrote about this in Beyond Pricing, a playbook on breaking silos and finding peak performance in commercial banking. As a Q2 client, I lived the thesis in practice, deploying tools to bring relationship economics into origination and portfolio management, and watching what changes when measurement is embedded in the daily operating rhythm rather than reconciled after the fact.
The experience was compelling enough to pivot. I joined Q2 to work at the intersection of what I know (commercial banking performance) and what I believe: the right software, deployed with discipline, changes how banks make decisions. My role now is helping financial institutions get this right. Durable performance is built through consistency, reinforced across cycles, not just in strong quarters.
